The Abs Hypertrophy course is designed for trainers and advanced trainees who want to learn the most effective, evidence-based methods for building abdominal muscle mass.
The course begins with a brief review of skeletal muscle contractions and abdominal muscle anatomy, followed by multiple sections covering the key variables involved in developing a hypertrophy program including exercise selection, intensity, effort, volume and frequency. After the discourse, an exercise menu and readymade workouts are provided with links to video demonstrations of effective abs exercises. Participants will need access to an AbMat, decline bench, dumbbells and an adjustable cable machine to perform the included exercises, though modifications can be made.
For the purpose of this course, only the rectus abdominis and external and internal obliques (the “abs”) will be discussed; therefore, it’s important that participants have a good understanding of the deeper core muscles and know how to properly stabilize, brace and breathe through the provided exercises.
By the end of the course, participants should have a deeper understanding of how to build muscle mass and feel confident progressing their abs training with an arsenal full of new and effective exercises.
To ensure course enrollees have the most up-to-date and accurate information, the Abs Hypertrophy course will be regularly updated to reflect new research and findings. A one-time enrollment fee grants access to all future updates.
